2026
AWARDS

Toronto Arthouse Film Festival's 2026 Award-Winning Films

In the past week, the Toronto Arthouse Film Festival marked its return with the eagerly awaited 2026 edition. This year's event featured four screening evenings at the Innis Town Hall, complemented by an engaging online streaming selection. A vibrant assortment of 32 films, curated from both local and international talent, encompassing narrative films, documentaries, experimental gems, and music videos, contributed to the festival's resounding success, drawing a diverse community of indie film enthusiasts.

Festival Curator, Kris De Meester, expressed his delight, stating, “We couldn’t be happier with how this latest edition of the Toronto Art House Film Festival unfolded. It was a true privilege to showcase such an incredible selection of talented filmmakers and share their unique stories and creative visions with the world. What made this edition particularly special was the presence of so many filmmakers at the screenings. Having them there to connect with the audience, share their perspectives, and engage in conversations about their work added an invaluable dimension to the festival experience. It’s exactly this kind of exchange between filmmakers and audiences that makes a film festival so meaningful, and we’re incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make this edition such a memorable one.”
